Yes, there is:
Username: vizitator
Password: bunvenit
A lot of the information on this site requires no special account. The guest account would be useful to read the forum. If you have a Princeton or RSSA account (registered or not), you have full read-write access to the forum.
The passwords of Princeton account holders are managed by OIT, through the htaccess (solution 8707 in the Princeton Helpdesk) method. Hence, for Princeton account holders, the passwords will be as secure as Princeton OIT chooses to make them. At no point does the RSSA club or administrator of this site have access to the passwords of Princeton account holders.
The passwords of non-Princeton account holders (you will know if you are among these) will be stored using the htpasswd method. This means that the passwords are encrypted. For a discussion about the security of the htpasswd method, see this discussion or otherwise seach the web.
Parts of the site are public, like this FAQ, the Events, the Announcements, the list of public Contacts, the Links or the Photos sections. In addition to these, those with a valid Princeton account can read and post to the Forum.
If you want to be a member of the RSSA, you are highly encouraged to also become a member on the site, by registering through Account->Personal . This will help us keep you updated with last minute events or periodic information, while striving to keep the number of e-mails from us to you reasonably low.
Registering on the site will give you access to the full list of members, posting of announcements, and the warm fuzzy feeling of having done the right think as an RSSA club member [seriously though, you can meaningfully contribute to the club, and let the club contribute to you without necessarily being registered here :)].

To gain the same privileges (on the RSSA site) as a non-registered Princeton user, e-mail the president (Alexandra, acopos_at_princeton_dot_edu), the vice-president (Theodor, tbrasove_at_princeton_dot_edu) or the webmaster (Andrei, rssa_at_princeton_dot_edu) your request, and we can give you those privileges by providing you with a non-registered account. If you have not talked to us before, please include a brief paragraph in your e-mail to explain why you want site access. We'll be pretty relaxed and liberal about it.
With a non-registered non-Princeton account we provide you, you have the same privileges as a regular Princeton account [as far as the RSSA @ Princeton club is concerned], so please follow the question above for Princeton account holders from this point on. You are however strongly encouraged to register your account, so as to be able to change your password from the one provided to you by us, and to get that warm fuzzy feeling ...
Go to your Account on the left, and upload a photo for yourself, you fearsome creature you !
Add more cute photos to the album "Default photos of officers," under the Account->Edit Albums option on the left.
We dare you show you are an officer, not a politruc. Go to your Account on the left, and add a personal statement. This will remove the "politruc" claim on the spot.
There is a guest account is for that. The username is "vizitator", and the password is "bunvenit", without the quotes, of course.
Reading access to this site is not logged by the site/club in any way, although you'll have to trust us about that, if you are not a Princeton account holder deep inside. For Princeton account holders, see the following question.
The entire site code is publicly accessible (for reading) to any Princeton account holder (/usr/campuscgi/rssa). Please feel free to browse the code and suggest any modifications you feel necessary.
Every post, whether to the forum, announcements, albums, personal accounts, or events stores:
The 50Kb limitation is in place because of Princeton OIT constraints on space utilization. You can use various software to decrease the resolution of your image, as well as the amount of detail in the image. You can choose any software for that. A software called Irfan view does the job quite nicely. If you choose Irfan view, go to Image->Resize to diminish the photo resolution, and go to File->Save As, select "JPG - JPEG Files" and control the "Save Quality" to reduce the amount of detail.
Note: Some member accounts can upload up to 300 Kb files. This allows those members to perform some administrative tasks. Should your account be among those, please still limit yourself to 50 Kb unless in performance of those tasks.
Decrease the image resolution. See the answer to the previous question.
The upload process is error prone due to the specifics of the Princeton server configuration and policies. We do our best to work with this unstable environment (for instance, each upload is attempted three times) and reduce the number of failures, yet failures are unavoidable.
Should one of your uploads fail, please attempt that upload again. In most cases, it is a temporary problem with one of Princeton's servers being down or unresponsive. We monitor errors and correct them as soon as possible. We may ask for your help in this.
E-mail the webmaster at rssa_at_princeton_dot_edu for additional questions.
